windshield top moulding (1 Viewer)

Can anyone measure the width of their top moulding for me please. I just had my windshield replaced, and while he did a great job with treating spots, using rivets, etc. I think the top moulding is too wide or too proud above the windshield and is making wind noise in the cabin.

Currently, the width of mine is about 7/8" or 22mm.

Oh, I'm certain it's aftermarket, I just want to know how much larger it is, if any, than the OEM moulding.

Just a final update. Turns out the moulding used was not causing the wind noise, it was where the passenger side moulding and the roof moulding meet above the passenger door. A little adjustment and dab of adhesive and it’s all good.

So if you or your installer want to use a wider overlay moulding to cover paint imperfections along the top of the windshield, it will work just fine.
