I realize this is an old thread but it's so good that I can't help myself but ask a slightly different question.

I have a 1990 FJ62 and I want to go from power windows to manual windows. I have already purchased the door handles, pins and manual regulators. What extra steps do I need to take to remove the power regulators to replace them with the manual stuff. I will replace my door cards at another time when I can get the funds together, so I am not worried about cutting holes in these to add the manual cranks. That being said, I realize the FJ62 is basically an upgraded FJ60 so there can't be much of a difference (if any) to the doors themselves.

For my '86 FJ60 build I swapped over everything electrical, including the power windows, door locks, and mirrors. The '89 FJ62 donor regulators bolted right in. The FJ62 regulators use four mounting bolts and IIRC the FJ60 regulators use five. But I think the inner door skins have the same holes.
