Winch Carnage....

PSA: make sure to tighten deeznutz!! I recently purchased a sweet used bumper equipped with a used Warn 9.5XP, however I wasn't aware that 1 out of the 4 bolt and nuts, was completely missing, of the other 3, only one was somewhat tight. I'm not sure how or why they were loose, they even had lock washers on them. Needless to say pulling an 80 out of a muddy ditch didn't do it any good. Did I mention I hate mud!
Enjoy the carnage!

Anyone else ever had this problem? I hope to rebuild it....

Ouch! Did it damage the bumper at all or just the winch?

Luckily the bumper is okay. I just hope I can get parts to fix the winch.

A quick google search came up with this place. Looks like you can get parts and I would think it would be worth the +/- $200 to fix it. And that was the first one I found. May be cheaper elsewhere.

Got it torn down, shouldn't be too hard to fix. I was surprised to see that the mount plates are aluminum....

i have an LX450 as well hoping to put a Slee shortbus bumper on it... Will Warn zeon 10-s fit on the Shortbus?

I'm not sure, you'd have to ask Slee. I think it's designed for the 9.5XP
