It looks OK to me Dan and certainly better than I could put together! The engineer in me would wonder about the winch mounting. You only have the 4 small bolts holding it to the plate and they will be in shear when you are winching. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think winches are designed to be mounted that way. I would be very careful when using it if you keep it that way.

Looks good is it bolted to the front crossmember from above? Will do the job just test it a few times first before you go in at the deepend

it has 4 3/8" grade 8 bolts that go to the factory mounting holes. to be honest i don see any other way of monting it i will try it once i have the fairlead on it any sugestions you guys might have on mounting it ??????? let me know:meh:

I offer this suggestion only because you asked.

You build a box and attach it to the frame crossmember where you have the All-Pro sticker. You then mount the winch feet-forward with a rectangular cut-out in the front of the box with a roller fairlead on the outside. Of course the "box" has to hold the pull of the winch against the front wall. That would also get your winch frame height which, in my opinion, is where it needs to be.

But then again, maybe it will be just fine the way you have it.
