Will it fit in the garage? Check my math!

Where Bugs Shoulda Made a Left...
Up front, I promised I searched! I have an early 70 with pretty flat leaves which I believe are original. I'd like to replace the suspension and lift it, but I don't know how much it's currently sagging, and I'd like to make sure that it's still going to fit in my garage afterward.

It is currently riding on really old 31/10.5/15 MT tires that actually measure 29" in diameter, has a stock-ish front bumper, no winch, the hardtop hasn't been on in around a decade, and it has the stock carrier with a spare. Given that, here's what I've measured:

Top of front shackle mount plate to ground - 18"
Top of rear shackle mount plate to ground - 21"
Center of frame (under the doors) to ground - 13.5"
Front bump stop - 2" from axle
Rear bump stop - 2.75" from axle
Front of rollcage - 12" from garage door opening
Rear of rollcage - 10.5" from garage door opening.

I believe I'm in the clear even with a 4" lift, larger tires, and some sag, but maybe not. If I'm sagging 2", I put on a 4" lift, and 33" tires, I'd be sitting 8" higher than I previous was (I think!) and I'd still clear the opening by 2.5". Unless I'm seriously missing something here!

Anything I didn't think of, is my sag really bad, is my math off?

Going from 29" diameter tire to 33" diameter will only raise the car 2 inches, 1/2 the increase in diameter (the part below the axle)

What size garage door do you have? Standard 7 foot door? That's what I have, and the opening is 83.5" (1/2" less than the door). My 40 with a 4" spring lift, 1.5" longer shackles and 35" MT/Rs sits about 83" tall. I clear by about a half inch.

Yup!! My biggest concern is my unknown amount of sag combined with it riding slightly taller without a top installed.

My garage door measures the exact same as yours, so that makes me feel better. Especially since I'd keep my stock length shackles. It was probably a pucker moment the first time you pulled yours into the garage!!
