Will a dual battery tray from HDJ81V work on my 96?

Hoping you guys can help me with this.

A guy is selling a few parts from an HDJ81V and I have dibs on a dual battery tray with hold down brackets, battery connector cables, OEM bolts and coolant tank with bracket for $100.

But I am not sure if it will work on my 96' I have a feeling it will only work on 91'-93'

What does it look like? Where does it mount? If it's a dual battery tray from a diesel i don't thinkso. But my brain isn't working that good today.

Hit up lacruiser for advice here on the board. Dana has a diesel conversion now and has driven petrol as well. He may know.

The guy selling it said he looked at some engine bay pics of an FZJ80 and thinks it will fit but can't guarantee it.

When I put my dual battery setup in I used the battery box package from a 91-92 Crzr for the right side of the engine compartment. Minor triming needed for the fan shroud, radiator area of the '96. No big deal.
I believe the engine compartment sheet metal layout is the same for the diesel or "petrol" model.
Should fit.

Yep, that's how my dual battery setup is too. 91-92... passenger side battery. 93+ drivers side battery. Ordered all the parts from Cdan.
