Why wont these come off?

I am trying to get these things in front of the headlights off so that I can get them sanded up. I took out the mounting screws located on the side toward the center of the 55. I cant find any more screws but they are still attached somehow. Someone please tell me if I'm just overlooking something obvious here or what. Thanks Richard

Just break out the old sledge hammer and use brute force!!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't believe it Rudnicki but my cruiser crapped out about 4 miles from my house, I am starting to hate landcruisers. Good luck with getting those lights off.

There should be a screw on either side of the headlight. From the looks of your buckets, the sledgehammer may be your best option. Ive had mine off, but its been awhile. Im at work, Ill see if I can run to the garage and check mine for sure. Hodag

Thanks Hodag your right I cant believe I didnt notice them Guess since they were so rusted they blended right in. I only managed to get one out the rounded the other out real quick. At least I know how to get it off now though. Mine look like crap but the one I got off is cleaning up well.
