Im looking to build a left and right storage area where my 2nd row seats are. Nothing super fancy... just with a flip top lid that can be accessed by both side doors..... one to house a water tank and the other for food/untensils etc.... and at least maybe staple some grey carpet to match my African Outback drawers.

Of course i would help and would bring the rig to you... and you'd get compensated for your time plus, pizza and beer.

Anyone up for the task? I know ZERO when it comes to woodwork. Plus i have no wood working tools, so even if i wanted to make my own, i couldn't.

I have a fair amount of tools and skill but not sure when I will be up to doing it. If it can wait a couple of weeks I shuld be able to it for you. I am pretty anal though so you will have to be patient while I get it perfect. :D

Does anal mean big $$$? lol!

Sure dude, i can wait a little bit. I can start with yanking the seats and hunt down a tank/pump etc.

Naw, I will do it for a fair price based on design and realistic time. If I take longer it's on me. We can talk and set a design, price and time frame. PM me or call me on my cell. I am heading out for a bit but can talk later today.

My buddy (and roommate), Steve, is a woodworker/welder. He builds wood and metal custom furniture, and his stuff is burly--like pass it on to your great grandkids, hide behind it when you're taking enemy fire, post-apocalyptic roach castle BURLY. If you're not on a time constraint, and you don't mind shelling out a little dough, he's super conscientious, and he always does a good job. PM me if you're interested.

In a perfect world, I'll be starting on the same section of my buildouts soon as well. It would be relatively simple for me to make duplicates. I could probably even make some modifications to fit your rig. If you haven't seen my buildout so far here's a link:https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=136736&highlight=perspective. But just like Slomo, I'm not sure of my exact schedule.

Here are a couple of pics when i got back from Moab so you can see the finished product:

I like how the drawers turned out with the Line-X. Looks awesome. How much did they charge you to shoot them? Is the whole set up held in by gravity or is it held down with the reinforced tie downs?

Thanks guys, the Line-x ran me $350 I believe. I had the whole exterior as well as the interior of the drawers done. The whole contraption is held down by 8 bolts into the factory seat bolt holes as well as the 6 tie down anchors. It's pretty solid:D

Looks good Steve. Did you use any slide bearing rails or does it just lay wood to wood?

Thanks, 500 pound ball bearing slides from Accuride

Again very nice work 619.
