3) Only previous maintenance(I think). The valve cover and the head appear to have never been removed(i.e no marring on any of the bolts).

There was a green 95' for sale on mud last year w/ 390k that was one owner and original...cant remember the seller's name but he had it listed in his sig line along w/ a couple of FJ60's.

1hdt rebuild about 80,000kms ago
new radiator
same drivetrain
electric windows (dont work too good when theyre wet)
fills up with water in places
gets 12-13l/100kms

Someone correct me if I am wrong but there used to be a site profiling high milage toyotas and there was an 80 series with something like 570xxx miles the link to the page is dead (google high milage toyota) maybe someone else remembers

1994 that is bone stock. 364,955 one owner miles. Oil changes and PM but other than that nothing has been done to it. The truck does give a little puff of smoke now when you crank it but nothing to worry about.

Valve stem seals. Mine did that, you don't even need to remove the head for it.

I have that one now. It only had 360,000 on it. It has 37x,xxx on it now. Guys I got it off of were total asshats and would not know a lug wrench from vise grips.

Replaced PS pump, Radiator, brakes rotors, head gasket, valve job, 1 cat, o2 censor x 4, Tires, plugs, wires, air filter, and running all synthetic oil.

I had over 500k on my FJ40. Original everything.

Trucks are too new to see those kinds of numbers save for an elite few.

I have a 1996 HDJ81, 1hd-t engine. Got it from my dad who bought it for my grandpa back in the day. He used it in the province and the farms all the time.

Now it has 437,000++ km on it Regular maintenance, changed nozzles once, tranny replacement and that's that. So happy for my 1hd-t engine! Such a reliable mofo.

Still thinking of a name for my crusher
