I went with the 12s - fits like a glove

make sure you get the Warn relo kit with wiring harness part #war89970 if you are planning on shoving it in an ARB bull bar.

On a Warn 9.5, does the box have enough wire to enable a relocation that is clear of my anti-collision camera on the center Toyota emblem. I really like using the radar cruise control on long trips.

@Haggis I mounted the solenoid on the bracket and then bent the bracket down as low as it would go but not so low that it trapped the box wrench. Since then I've only seen the PCS light come on when crossing certain altitudes (like over 5000).

FYI Warn Zeon 10-S with synthetic rope on sale for $799 after $100 mail in rebate at 4wheelparts.

Can anyone confirm that the Warn Zeon 12-S Platinum fits in ARBs bull bar (Deluxe bar), and/or TJM's T13?

Fitment docs for both products are seriously out of date...

I think the pic at the top of this page is of the ARB w/ Zeon 12-S (not sure if Platinum?)

Does that Warn Zeon block the radar camera on the Toyota emblem?

It appears to block the camera, but I think the radar is separate and behind the grill, not actually attached so the radar should be affected but @schob24 could confirm.

Side note, I have always liked the look of the blacked out mesh grill w/ older "TOYOTA" emblem that some folks on here are running, part of that process is to remount the camera to the new grill - seeing schob24's pic reminds me that if I do it to mount the camera a bit higher so that eventually when I get a winch it won't be blocked.

Radar is in the "Toyota" emblem. Which is why the 13+ LCs have a glassy looking emblem.

Is Warn Zeon supposed to be a play on Warren Zevon?

I'm not sure about the statement that the radar is in the emblem, @usmcHOG replaced his grill on a 2014 and confirmed radar was not attached to the grill itself (which would include the sombrero). My 1st 200 Build

The millimeter radar is actually right behind the emblem. The emblem is a composite materiel that allows radar waves to pass through and protect the transmitter/receiver from debris.

The Zeon has a relocation kit that will allow you to remove the top control module. I don't know if the Platinum allows for that, as it is purely wireless.

That's what I meant, I probably should have said "behind" instead of "in"

You are correct @Mogwai, the radar is not in any way shape or form attached to or a part of the emblem on my 2014. It is mounted on a separate mount a few inches behind and completely independent of the grill and therefore the emblem. When I removed and replaced my grill, I only had to remount the camera and a gasket along the top that seals the grill to hood seam. I never touched the radar sensor and there was no impact on it's performance after the fact. I'm not sure why the owners manual suggests the radar sensor is part of the emblem?

The emblem was designed to keep the tx/rcvr "safe" while still allowing the radar waves to pass through unobstructed. So, in theory, it is a part of the radar system as a whole, but not the emblem specifically. Either way, great job on the grill. It really looks great for the few of you guys that have done this.

I'm mounting up a VR 10000s with the Warn solenoid relo kit this weekend - they are updating that and the Zeon so there were somne real deals.... I got mine for 640

noted the 4wheel parts had the Zeons 10s for 840 as well..... of course I'd just bought the VR....

Where did you hear about updates? Any info on that?

I can't seem to find that - essentially on the VR series they're changing the solenoids out for the latest option - single smaller unit.

My LC is a 2011, unfortunately no front camera to mess with
