Which tire O wise ones?

You are such a good husband. She'll like them. Better fit for the cruiser wheel wells and IMHO perform as well if not better than the Michelin's everywhere I've been.

good husband? naw...just getting tired of changing flat tires - 2 in the last 2 month (the second one being last night). the Michelins were old with insufficient tread.

There's nothing wrong with Michelin's in general -- I think they're a great tire. I, however, want to move up to a more aggressive tread pattern with good on/off road manners (mostly on-road).

How many people have bought MT's and regretted it because of the noise and other street handling charactaristics?

I'm trying to figure out if I want to go with a true MT tire, or just go with an AT.

When I drive my daughters 4 runner with Goodyear MTRs, the noise and ride on road is not as nice as the LX450 with my BFG AT's. I personally prefer the AT's.

I saw them on a few rigs during a recent trail ride and the owners loved them!

Just installed 315's in the BFG A/T on the LX450. They have about 60% tread life and we love them. Solid ride and they fill the wheel wells nice. Will be installing the OME lift in the next couple weeks. We haven't noticed a drastic drop in power at all either. Still getting 15-16 miles to the gallon also.

I run 285/75/16 revo's and like them but I wish I'd have gone with 255/85/16, would have had to go to a different tire but I love pizza cutters.
