Which exhaust resonator should I choose? (1 Viewer)

Hey folks,

I'm shopping for the last piece of exhaust; did the magnaflow 23120 and a magnaflow muffler. Other Mud members have used the same setup successfully and I like what I've experienced so far.

However, I've got highway drone. The way I understand it, muffler quiets, resonator eliminates drone.

How do I evaluate which resonator to use?

I'm currently deciding between two but can't see any difference between them besides size (and price!). What does size dictate? What I'd like is for it to be as quiet as can be (within reason).

I think the big can will be more effective at quieting your drone--more space for the resonance to bounce around in there (my hair-brained theory ) Plus, it even says "quiet" in the product name!

:edit: I do know of some people have used that very same resonator to quiet down the exhaust after installing magnaflow mufflers on their Acura TL's. Got good reviews on the acura sites.
