I think you guys are overthinking this, especially vibrations. mount it at the slee and call it a day. the comps have filters on them and are replacable so change the filter if you are worried about dust.
Where under the hood did you mount your CKMA12 ARB Compressor?

I made a simple bracket out of material from Lowes and it's brutally sturdy (see my photos in post #19).
No problems with heat, dust, etc.
I also have an easy quick connect right there for my air lines for tires, tools and toys.

Nope...
I can fit dual Odyssey PC1200 batteries in the same space as the factory battery. I already have the batteries and I'm hoping to have that done this Presidents weekend. (If so, I'll post some photos.)

Dust has been a non-issue with my ARB compressor...since 2006. Unlike the engine the compressor isn't typically running while you're blasting down dusty trails...I've been pleasantly surprised how relatively clean the filter does stay...mounted behind the PS light.
