Most are trailers and I have not seen them move but it's a great idea. I'll give it a try.
For those traveling to SCC, the Whippet in Prattsville is good. Catfish is the best IMO. Dairy bar/sit-down type place. If you stopped at the yellow jacket, it would be a good shake stop. Prattsville is about halfway between Sheridan and Malvern.
^ this reminds me. First time going to SCC. running the normal route from Jtown....where do you stop if you have lunch to eat along the route somewhere? yellow jacket..If I can make it that far? somewhere in delta?
The Pickens Restaurant and Commissary in Pickens (just south of Dumas) gets good reviews. I personally have not had the chance to try it yet.
There is a decent Mexican joint in Dumas on the southbound side of the highway. Nothing special, but better than McDonalds.
I don't know of much worth stopping for between Lake Village and Dumas.
