Leftovers to Grogan on Monday......

Some have said it's Meh and so so.
Natalie had red fish last night with potatoes and green beans. the honey whiskey sauce it was in was over the top.
I am trying to hold off on seafood until the beach but couldn't resist the shrimp. The breading was a 4 out of 5. a little mealy for me but good. The remoulade sauce had a little heat on the back end and I love their spin on fries/chips....lightly fired potatoe that has some crunch but is semi soft in the middle. it also had some cole slaw with it and it was good, fresh cut ingredients and it wasn't mayonaisse based.
didn't get a pic but had a really good crabcake for an appetizer with a corn, onion, pepper bed.

hunger games
After a few drinks and dinner I was pretty full but the strawberry shortcake and cheescake put me over the top so I was good and full for "Hunger Games"
cheesecake was very moist but I wish it had more fruitt or glaze on it.
The strawberry short cake was ubber sweet but it may be bc I had "helped" Natalie with her cheesecake and I was pegging out my sweet tooth.
HUGE portions as you can see, I suggest splitting them.
Table 100 is more of a date night place for us as it's a little pricey but the service is always excellent and I love the vibe of the piano bar and restaurant.
Definitely not anything like it in Flowood.

Agree. Ginny and I were there last weekend and had the redfish and seared tuna...again.
Love the food, love the piano bar, and love the very generous bar tenders. Best place to eat in Flowood for sure.

Anyone have any 'Where to Eat!' tips for Tupelo? My google-fu is not turning up much.
Breakfast at Connie's, gotta have the chicken and gravy and biscuit, plus a blueberry donut.
Family friendly dinner at The Lost Pizza Company - pizza, subs, tamales, plus buckets of beer if you desire.
I have had some great sushi around Tupelo also.
Anything in particular you are looking for? I have a buddy that can go more in depth for me. I usually try to plan my meals around Oxford when I am in that part of the world.

Looking for a place for dinner. Sushi would be great if you've got a solid recommendation.
Drive to Oxford. Nothing in Tupelo compares.
While I agree with this, if you are stuck in Stupelo.....go to Mt Fuji for sushi

We're in and out for the concert, so Oxford is not an option.
