For the record, the fried rice dude at OEC in Madison knows how to run a flat-top. Nice and crispy. No vegetables.

ha no....I haven't been there in years.
The Original Mexican Kitchen in the 80's was on Hardy Street next to the old movie theater and across from Mike's Tire and Wheel. It was really, really good Mex food. They moved down on 49 in a old BBQ place (The Wagon Wheel?). Anyway Mex Kitchen back then was the real deal in an era when everybody thought mexican food was El Chico's.

Is Baker's Burger a chain? I wonder if they'll start offering a wider beer selection, now that the law has changed. Not that there's anything wrong with $.99 PBR.
I am pretty sure it is local owned. It looks to be designed to be a chain.

I liked it as well. Their jalapeno cheddar buns are phenomenal.

Recommendations for the Flowood area? Looking for something a little easier on the pocket book than table 100. Prefferably not an applebees type place.
