For those rolling into Hot Springs off 270 about a 1/4 mile before Bud's Liquor is Mel's Diner. Great food 8-3 all made while you wait so don't be in hurry. Good eats

Well worth it Bossman. They also sell breakfast all day. I had chicken fried steak and it was very good not Mason TX good but good.

Dreamland Tuscaloosa. 3rd and last trip.

5 star atmosphere
3 star sides
4 star dessert
1 star ribs.

Garbage. Always are. Not sure why I think it will change.

If you're ever in my neck of the woods, Home Grown Restaurant is legit. Big wait on weekends, but if you are solo you can snag a counter seat.
CF steak with eggs any style and cheese grits.

Salmon cakes topped with FGT and pimento cheese sauce. Do yourself a favor and get an extra biscuit for all that sauce.

I have only had take out at the original Dreamland in the town Bear Bryant built. Picked it up and drove it to the o73 as quick as that diesel could get me home. Having said that I have always liked the one in Mobile.
Ribs have always been good, service great and their banana pudding is REALLY good.

I dont get to eat out as much as @wngrog so I dont quite have the palate as Cottonland's own Guy Fieri....
