How close is the new(ish) Calvary blue to the 70’ cadet blue? I was driving next to one today and since I’ve never seen a cadet blue in person just curious

Cavalry blue is brighter than the old cadet blue. Toyota’s Heritage blue that came on the FJ cruiser is much closer to cadet.

For a side by side, the owner of this 40 said his was painted heritage blue.

The FJ Co blue looks quite a bit darker than the others but wonder if it’s the lighting. I’m hoping it actually is that dark because that’s the look I want.

There is one earlier in the thread with Arles Blue. I just did this color and feel like it is pretty close to that fjco one. A bit darker and bluer probably, but that is what I like.

gotcha. I luckily had an experienced friend coach me. Looks good though, I doubt it will be too hard to fix. It's a nice color.

Heres a side by side comparison of Toyota heritage blue versus Arles blue. I started with heritage and then changed to arles. Heritage is a satin finish and the Arles is gloss.
