While in the drivers side fender to do the PHH I found this just hanging there. Where does it connect?
There are 2 wires in the gray cover that go into the large loom along the drivers side of engine/

Agreed but I can't find a point within reach-not much range in wires. I looked for a point that it would connect to and to be honest the only place is the starter.

Yup, that's the ground connector. When I get home, I'll look for it. I think it may go on the lower part of the intake manifold, maybe?

Having trouble uploading images but I think it goes on the rear of the lower intake manifold. Bolt faces the rear of the car. If you look downward between the side of the brake booster and manifold you'll see the throttle cable.. below that is a boss on the lower manifold and I THINK that is where it goes.

Is the other ring terminal in your photo accounted for? with two black wires? That should have one terminal on the lower coil bracket, and one on the inner fender.

EDIT: trying imgur for the photo. Can barely see the dark bolt head at 1-oclock from the red tape band on the throttle cable.

Far too technologically advanced for me..

So finally got a chance the get back in there are you were right @alia176 the bolt was missing. Found a new bolt and the wires connected right up. THANKS

Awesome!! Grounding is very important in vehicles. I'd check the other grounding points to make sure they're present and accounted for!

Y'all remember the size (thread / pitch) of the bolt or the part number? Sorry to revive an old AF thread.

Most of those are M6x1 but maybe consider having M8x1.25 on hand as well. Both should be short.

Should be 12mm head and fairly short, maybe 10-15mm in length.

It should be the same as pretty much every other bolt on the intake, (e.g. power steering pump reservoir, oil dipstick, evap hose bracket etc. )
