I think we can collectively say 2020 has been a year that we will remember for the rest of our lives. My wife and I were able to celebrate the birth of our first son, relocated across the country, I started a new job, spend lots of time with family, and add another 200 to our stable :)

Between traveling for work, family, and vacations, I had quite a bit of windshield time in both our LX and Cruiser. Wanted to share some photos from the year all made possible by the trucks we love.

This is a snapshot of where our 200s took us - not too many can say they’ve been on 3 coasts in one year!

We purchased our 2018 LC early this year, and subsequently went on a lot more trips than we normally do. The Cruiser basically gives you an excuse to go do those "fun" trips you've been putting off 🏔 🚙

Added 10,000 since taking ownership in May, most of those miles were in September - November.

I don’t know how to put the marks on the map to show my route, but I bought a camper in December of 2019 and the timing could not have been better. We went from Houston to northern Arizona in May, upstate New York in August and San Diego in September. I put on at least 10k towing miles in the first year of camper ownership and it’s been great. My 2013 LX handled it without breaking a sweat and the AHC made the trip smooth over all the miles. I think it counts as three coasts with East, West and Gulf.

Did our usual local stuff but also managed to go from Maine to Colorado and back taking different routes both ways

great trip with my oldest son checking out colleges.
The cruiser was flawless other than my half assed roof rack whistling a bit with the rooftop tent.

Bought it back in march a couple days before covid restrictions hit. Somehow managed to take it from 116,800 to 127,700 since then (my work commute is 3 miles). Not as scenic as others but it's fun to bounce around texas.

Thanks for starting this thread, 04UZJ100. Some great pics and rigs from posters.

As for our 200, my son and I flew from Los Angeles to Houston in late January. Picked up a used LX570 in League City (just South of Houston) and visited colleges in cities as we took our time to drove back to CA.

I don't take alot of pictures, I should take more. Multiple ski resorts at the start of the year, including a trip to Revelstoke and Red Mountain which was a blast, and a PITA all at the same time. Besides that, my usual ski jaunts to ID, MT, and UT. We had planned to go Revel with two other people, who decided to drive themselves at the last minute. The alternator on their Tacoma died in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere in BC, so we had to go pick them up. Thankfully I had the roof box on to fit them and all their gear.

Summer plans to Banff and Jasper were put on hold due to Covid, so the 200 has sat in the garage most of the year, with the other vehicles getting summer mountain duty this year.

I climbed Rucu Pichincha, Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi, and Cayambe the last couple months and my trusty steed got me to the refuges no problema. I have Iliniza Sur, Antisana, and Chimborazo scheduled for January. In addition to the highlands we did a couple trips to the Cloud forests. I plan on making a trip to the Amazon later in '21.
