My 14” stretched 3/4 tub is 230 lbs. According to Aqualu’s website, the factory length FJ40 3/4 tub is 195 lbs. I don’t know what the weight is of a steel body.

I h it it with a D/A sander at 80-100 grit then cleaned and primed with Eastwood epoxy primer. I didn't want a gloss finish, so I found a paint locally that I am told is used to paint dump trucks. It sounded rugged, so I went with that.
