@NeverGiveUpYota paging Felicity.

Her build thread is nuts. Well worth reading the full 100 pages or whatever it's up to.

@Beastiethe70 also is a 60 owner now.
…and as soon as she sends me the parts, I’ll rebuild her carb that’s sitting on my workbench and maybe she can fire up the truck finally 😂

My 15 yo daughter learned to drive in the old FJ60 and wants her own now. She's been wheeling and camping in it since she was little. She drove a good portion of White Rim last summer. :cool:

Definitely nuts. I could say a few things about it but I’d just be knocking my arrogant self from back then. Don’t ask what the truck is doing now…
My 12yo son enjoys teasing me because a month plus ago I was goi g to let him drive it up and down the driveway. Well sadly, I reversed the position of the brake and clutch and he kinda got annoyed and the truck stalled thankfully about 8’ from the road. 🤣 He’s plenty tall enough now… I look at his shoulder. He’s 5’8”
No photos of him in the seat. He’s really hyper focused on fishing nowadays and yeah I really need to get the truck moving again. The stalling issue a few years ago kinda messed me up a bit.

Hey young lady, good to see you're still around n kickin'. You gotta be doin' something right, the young man seems to be doing well

Hi there - fun thread! This is my 1989 FJ62. I had a blue FJ60 in the early 2000's but sold it for a better commuter vehicle. Always missed it and manged to find the 62 for sale in 2020. Shregg and I (and our little senior papillon) brought it from Colorado to Western Wisconsin while camping in our rooftop tent during the peak of Covid lockdowns. Epic trip! This past December I drove it from Western WI down to Central TX so we could enjoy it while here for the winter. So happy to have a wagon again and always enjoy the comments from people when out and about. So many people have great LandCruiser stories! Jen
