Just thought I would let everyone know, I am purchasing one from Future Logistics in Kelowna, BC. They seem to be very helpful. I just got pictures of the trailers that he has available and they seem to be in good to great shape. The prices range from $500 - $700 USD depending on condition. I will be headed up sometime in the next month or two to pick one up. He is willing to hold one for me with 1/2 down.

The Future Logistic guys have had these trailers for over 2 years. I really doubt you have to put any money down for them to 'hold' one for you.

I bought mine there about 1.5 yrs ago. I called, asked about condition, and we settled on a price of $800CAD. When I got there I felt the trailer was misrepresented, so he took $50 off IIRC.

He also said he would get back to me about some accessories I wanted but never did.

The guys there seemed OK to deal with, but I had a funny feeling about the whole thing. Seeing what these things are going for now I don't feel like I got ripped off or anything. I was a little horny for one though (I needed it for work).
If I had more time to look I would not have bought from them.

So my advice would be:
go up there and have a look,
if you like what you see and the price is right, buy it.

I wish I knew about the guy in Abbostford first.

They are great little trailers, though.

Thanks for the heads up, from my understanding this is a new shipment of trailers. Last summer I was looking to purchase one and he was out. He has taken pictures of what he has and some look, at least from the pictures, to be in pretty good shape. I will be going up in a couple of weeks or so to get one and I will repost with my experience. dingdong, did you bring it back to the states?

Thanks
Scott

Thanks, just thought I would check, I have heard mixed responses about bringing them back to the states, so I thought I would check.

Thanks

That's great - glad you snagged one. I haven't had time to pick mine up yet - you posted a pic of it though... I plan to use it for dual purpose - spotted a nice diesel heater for the trailer when the tarps on - plenty of sleep space and 3/4 tonne load cap. off road - I can bring the whole farm.

Finally got my Technitop on the truck and used it this past weekend - love it - lets get out there when it warms up some!

Well, I went up to Kelowna Canada to pick up my trailer. I met a guy named Rob who took me up to where he had the trailers. He had I believe 5 left once I picked up mine. They were all in pretty good shape, the boxes looked to be unused and a couple with a little surface rust. The parking brakes worked, the springs and shocks are in good shape, and the frame is definitly solid and in great shape. There are a couple of issues with the trailers, the first is the tires on the cheaper trailers have only about 1/3 tread left and the second is the fenders were dented during transit to his location. He was very up front about the two issues and was willing to take pictures of each trailer and relay any information about them to me. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know.

Thanks

man there is quite a bit of excitement on these things.. they look like a trailer i grew up with as a kid... my dad still has the parts tho he has been using the hitch and axel on a work trailor, the original he has is alum body with mattress on top and the whole thing has canvas tent on it that opens up to base camp.

but the core body looks the same to these canadian types... i grew up in vermont btw...

i am jonesin for gettin the parts in my garage and refurbish it....

will ask my pops to scan in some old fotos....

cool stuff
