Here's the material I used. It's a Spradling Product. Very close to the original. Here is an old tailgate chain cover off of a 65 SWB FJ45. The model number is SAV-9757 and the color is Tumeric.

It's a very good marine grade material. I have had at least 5 sets done.

It has been discontinued but is available at several dealers.
