KMC XD Misfit

I have had XD's (Misfit, Monster and Revolver) on my last three rigs, 2002 100, 1997 80 and 2005 4R. I wheeled the 80 and 4R all over Colorado, North Carolina, California, and Utah on difficult trails and never had any damage which I couldn't easily touch up with paint and without the worry of rust.

To say that these will not hold up to wheeling or that they don't look good on LC's is ludicrous. When I consider what some of the other options cost on my rigs, tires that are $425 a piece and I need five of them, bumpers that are nearly $3000, $2500 nav/audio systems, etc, etc, etc, $1000 for a set of five wheels is not that much money to have a wheel, that in my opinion, looks much better than stock.

it will fit with no issues its about 32.9" or 33" . 255/85 is little too skinny , why not a 285/75/16 thats a 32.6" and looks better
:)

I'm running 255/85-16 Toyo MT and really like the size. Looks great, doesn't rub anywhere, and traction is amazing.

BTW, I think the 255s look better ;)

Some details:

18" kmc xd series wheels.
Custom hub and custom bolt pattern adds to 3.5 weeks wait and $50 per wheel extra.
Duratrac tires.
Expensive set up but i love the looks and stance now

Cheers!)

hoping to revive this thread. everyone with aftermarket wheels post up! let's keep the chatter to a minimum. Then we'll have a thread with good information. I'm hoping to pick up some wheels next year. I really wanted the TE37X but they are discontinued in our bolt pattern.

there is a company that makes a similar looking wheel but is the interest here on this board?

Ok gentlemen

I got a dilemma, winter is here and my cruiser came with Pirelli Scorpions ATR....they are junk!!! no handling on snow and the truck just slides all overt the road like a prius or something.

I need help with advise on more agressive ATs. Which ones should i get. I know the more agressive i go the less sipping, the less handling on ice and snow. Which ATs are good all round but still closer to MTs. Thanks!!!
I run falken wildpeak at3w’s and they are great on snow and ice.
