Well I went through the whole picture thread of 100s, 99% of people have stocks on with different finishes. I was looking at black rims whether gloss/satin/flat with some lip to
Them. 18". Off roading type so preferably stronger than your usual allow.
My question is what's the offset, and hub centric size I should go?
Also are the stock wheels 8" wide.
Sorry I just bought mine 1 week ago so I'm a total noob haha

basically, you're concerned with how the rocks will view you...

i prefer 16s for off road work. they extra sidewall height is beneficial to traction. i actually only looked for years of 100s with 16in wheels because i didnt want to have to go to the trouble of replacing wheels. money is better spent on more important mods.

i do run a set of 16 non-USA split steel wheels on it now, those will hold Super Swampers at some future date. and my alloys will be for all around use.

No im not concerned with how the rocks will view me. I just really like the looks of deep dish black steelies like pro-comp wheel, so i thought someone might have a picture of similar wheel....
Yes 16s are better for off road and running at low psi, of course, but im not planning oo doing in 100 anything i did with my 80. not soon anyways.

This is still one of my favorites (Stolen from Hoser):

Those JDMs look very nice as well. I will keep on looking until I find a black wheel that looks nice. Ive had many vehicle and not one stayed with stock set of wheels. Those things really make or brake the look of a vehicle for me. Stock is too boring and plain.

You might want to consider 18" Tundra steelies. Quite a few people on here run them. I think they look great painted black. You can find a set of take-offs in Atlanta for $150 on Craigslist.

Ditto, two take off sets on Seattle Craig's List right now for $140. Looking at picking one set up tomorrow...

Yes the pictures show the general picture of the rim not necessarily the exact 5x150mm bolt pattern.

These are still my favorite...

Is there a good powder coat paint that is this color? I like the gray (see post #16 on this thread) but like this color more better.:bounce:

Agreed, my first set of 16's are powdercoated and my next set of 18's will be rattle can. The rattle job is much easy to touch up and look normal than powdercoat. Not to mention you will pay at least $20-30 per wheel for powdercoat and that buys lots of rattle cans.

Krylon Satin black matches my powder coat on my wheels and the Slee powder coat on my bumper/sliders very well....just thought I'd add that.
