wheel question for 77 (1 Viewer)

Can someone tell me what the correct wheels and rims were for a 77 FJ40?
I thought gray steel wheels with hubcaps are correct,
yet another person is telling me these, are 77 rims off a 40

You are right. Those are later model wheels. 80's fj60s came with those. Landpimp says that those wheels in white were stock on fj40s from '81-83.

They're not original, but they'd work nice and look nice, if you like 'em. They're also 6" wide, instead of 5.5" wide.
