I wonder what setup would be good for me I don't travel w gear only 3 boys and my wife. Looking to upgrade the front bumper w the ironman bumper without the bars.

Highly recommend the toughdog tourflex coils

Are you planning on adding a winch? Then for front I would recommend 700lb/in. Rear you can go with anything less OME 2723, 340lb/in but greater than factory rate. OME and tough dog has great selection of springs. For reference icon standard front spring rate is around 600ish. Front Factory is around 550.
Not planning on adding winch, only front bumper .

Greetings all. I'm finally getting my ironman bumper in. I have "prepped" everything for install as outlined in their instructions. My question is, has anyone had issues with headlights cracking where the headlight locating tabs are? Does the front camera get relocated? How is the wiring for the LED lights? Thanks.

Page 3 of this thread (Post #41), Bullgump posted some detailed/ informative instructions about connecting the lights. For the front camera, the IM bumper does obstruct the view (annoyingly) and I plan on relocating it like Atwalz posted on #34 post of this thread.

btw, the only concern I have are the two larger front tabs. Both are 1/3" from the edge of the IM bumper and I may need to move the bumper more forward and/ or cut out the two tabs. It will definitely rub/ hit and damage the headlights if there is shifting of the bumper. Has anyone cut the tabs off or know of a good solution? The cut holes may need to be sealed to prevent moisture from getting into the headlights?

FWIW I had an early version of the Trail Tailor bumper and I had this same issue on my 2013, though @TonyP didn't. (I think it's more of some odd differences in my 2013, as the front parking sensor grommets on mine were different than TonyP's). I ended up using an angle grinder to notch the spot in the bumper to add clearance and then painted it. So far no issues. Depending on how the other headlight spacing looks you might try to loosen the bumper bolts from the frame and see if you can shift it over a tiny bit - it's possible the alignment is slightly off and the nub should line up better with the gap. I would not recommend grinding the spot on the headlights as I'd worry about cracking them.

I'd also like the note here that the ARB recovery points are not compatible with the ironman front deluxe bumper on a 16 and up 200

I left the original ones on mine so far, but they are not sticking out as much. What does everyone go with tundra ones or TT?

Trail Tailor will not work. The eyelet will not be accessible due to interference from the bottom mount of bumper cradle.

I have a set of tundra recovery hooks but they look dumb. They stick down almost two inches - it bugs me to install a high clearance bumper only to install something that reduces clearance.

Don't know about the tundra hooks, but they look like they drop clearance of the front end. I've thought about chopping the ironman to fit the ARBs, but I always chicken out because it's the front member that the bumper attaches to.

I wonder if the ironman ones for the gx would work?
