What's the procedure for replacing the small window trim on the rear passenger doors?

I've got a pretty cracked rubber seal/trim around the small non-moving window section of the passenger rear door. I've got a replacement seal ready to go, but I wanted to get some insight on the replacement steps before I get everything torn apart.

I've got a set of trim tools I could use to hard pry out the window, but that seems like hours of fighting the rubber which might cause some damage. Is the best way removing the interior panel and sliding the window/seal up into place as a whole?

I think the FSM might detail this out, but this is how I did it:
  1. remove interior door panel/card
  2. remove door glass
  3. remove the steel bar dividing the 2 pcs of glass (there are a couple bolts down inside the door, then one screw under the weather-strip at the top
  4. then you can work out the glass and rubber surround as one piece. You need to slide it forward as there are blocks of weather-strip that need to come out of notches in the actual door
  5. this is a great time to replace that outer window felt (they are generally pretty rusty and crusty). Lots of recent threads on this
Overall, not a bad job, but finicky. Hope that helps.
