Putting your spare on the roof rack?

Nope, the spare is going back on as well. It is going to hold both. It should add roughly another 20 lbs max on the hinge side of the door.

I replaced the distributor and now all that brutus does is back fire real damn loud! More work saturday.

Enough!

was about to install my diff drop, when i realized one of the threads on my engine skid was stripped out from a hard hit i took at Wheeltoberfest, so now my engine skid/tmission skid is a bolt short... tried re-threading to a larger size, with no success. can't get it to re-thread and can't get a nut on top because of the drive shaft being in the way. not sure what im going to do now. open to suggestions! and don't say zip-tie!

Can you remove your driveshaft? BTW-when are you going to post your rig on the ROTM?

i dont know. sounds like a pain in the ass though. i drilled the hole bigger but the damn thing wont re-thread.

as for the ROTM, i can't add it cause i'm not the webmaster. i sent all my info to Bart though.

not a puking thing:bang:

Bart, Brian and myself removed my tow hitch and rear sway bar. I also found that the wiring for my roof top lights has once again melted the outer coating and will have to be redone. To anyone considering using the Baja Rack pre assembled wiring harness for high wattage lights I recommend you save your hundred bucks and spend it on some 10-12 gauge wire. The 18 gauge that comes in the assembly just aint cutting it. My new plan of attack will be to bite the bullet and drill a hole in my roof. Kevin, Bart....I am more than willing to have you guys show me the way to do this properly.:D:wrench:

Bart and I removed my driveshaft today and all in all it wasn't to bad. It only took us about 45 minutes to disconnect and reconnect. That is including the time it took to remove the sway bar.

Installed the distributor properly and had allot less BANG!
