Should've said something. I've got spindles ready to gusset. I sent a pair to a guy on FJCF and he sent me his OEMs, so he didn't have down time, and so I could gusset and do again.

If you want these spindles to gusset prior to your install, let me know and I'll send your way, as long as you'll send me your straight ones back.

Will keep in mind. A bunch of us have been discussing it here in the club. It really doesn't affect me as I am knocking this out while my shocks and coilovers are getting revalved at ICON. I may upgrade my brake pads too.

My new winch came in. Looks very nice. Had no idea it was going to come with a wireless remote in addition to the wired remote. Did some modifications to my winch mount with the plasma cutter last night.

going to try to find some time tonight to mount the winch in the mount I made then look at relocating the winch control. Will need to make some new cables I guess. Anyone done that before?

I just made some cables. Go to west marine. They have everything you need.

My FJ is officially on blocks in a secret hideaway. Shocks and coilovers are on their way back to ICON VD to be revalved.

Bart, go to NAPA (or really any auto part store) and tell them how long you want the cables. I believe they are 4 ga for the control box and 2 ga for the positive and negative terminals if I remember. Just bring them your cables to verify size and get them to crimp (read SMASH with a big a$$ block thing) the terminals on the new cables for you. That's what I did with mine.

So Layton and I were both weighing the advantages of an ARB fridge -Vs- a YETI cooler, and we both decided that a Yeti was the better choice. Besides the obvious price different ($300 for a yeti, $700 for an ARB fridge), i can take this out of my truck and bring it to the beach, to the campsite, dont have to worry about wiring/dual battery/mounting, and Yeti's will hold ice for 7-14 days! (depending on ice quality/quantity, outside environment, size of the cooler). oh..and they're bear-proof. Anyway, I went and picked up a 45 quart today, and i'm pretty stoked about it. Layton is going to pick his up tomorrow.

Yea I have a 20 and a 65 and I think they are well worth it. 14 days would be stretching it, but I have kept the contents of my freezer frozen in the 65 for 3 days with dry ice. Nice buy!

Took the bumper off, to get it ready for jambo. And tinted my new turn signals

I lowered my FJ 2". Swapped my mud tires for the crappy 4Runner road tires. Almost ready for the big trip. Rolling out a week from tomorrow!:crybaby:

Looks like doga$$ but I bet he gets a lot better gas mileage. The G.A.T.O.R. may turn inito the Big Green Rollerskate if gas prices keep going up.
