I After reading yours and some others I'll go through whatever paperwork I get with the rig and make sure all the fluids are up to snuff... check the brake pads.. check the spark plugs and wires.. basically do all the routine maintenance to make my baby last the long haul..cruiserdan said:Again, depends on intended usage.

multi purpose vehicle: as above with more agressive tires.
Trail vehicle, as above plus:
#1 Agressive tires, 305-70-16 (a lift is not required for tires of this size)
#2 Sliders
#3 winch and suitable front bumper to mount same
#4 lift, on the order of OME 850J/863
#5 Rear bumper/tire carrier like Slee or comperable
#6 Lockers, if you were not lucky enough to score a vehicle already equipped
