I have a 1962 FJ62 that I have pulled the engine and transmission and am replacing with a LS and GM Trans. The engine is hurt I believe. Has 283K on it when I pulled it and was stuck. The trans was in working order when pulled. Originally I was just going to put them on shelf to keep it if I ever wanted to go backwards, but now that I am working on the LS I don't think I will ever go backwards and wondering if it's worth anything to any cruiser heads out there or do I just junk it? Thoughts? Located in Utah.

Thanks!
Nate

I had a hard time getting rid of both. Ended up selling my 3fe for a $400 CAD and my transmission for $600 or something like that. It was rebuilt though.

Georg might take your trans as a core at least, or you might be able to sell it for a few hundred.

Engine- if it’s seized then you might be better off parting it out. Smog stuff sells, especially in CA. If the head is good (not cracked) could be worth something. Sensors and harness could be used by someone. All depending on condition of course.

But realistically you’re not going to ever reinstall those.

Dang, if I bought the 60 I test drove in Layton the other week I'd be messaging you right now about sourcing parts for a 2fe
