What the heck are these components under my hood?

I have an 83 60 series with a 2F and accidentally nudged the component in the first pic and it started to spark. It’s mounted on the fender just behind the battery.

I believe the second component is a charcoal canister possibly.

Aftermarket fuse likely for a trailer wiring setup - that's the most common reason I see those. Those get really fun when you bridge the two contact s with your body. If you aren't towing, rip out all the trailer wiring. That stuff is always a hack job and causes electrical issues more times than not. If you are towing, what you have looks like crap - rip it out and redo it the right way.

Second one is the charcoal canisters and the Outer Vent Control Valve (OVCV) mounted to the top of it (with hoses and electrical connector running to it). Most of the charcoal cans are bad at this point but there's info here on Mud for replacing it (and replumbing) for an AC Delco or other aftermarket can.

@raisinhell2 would like a word with you about your profile picture 😂
