found a pair of wires that run with the rear heater wire, along the coolant lines. two molded wires, goes to a factory plug, problem is, it's busted off right where it would go to something. it's not the rear heater, as it's still hooked up.

What year '55? It could be the seat belt buzzer.
Mine didn't have that wire. 7/73
'Cause seatbelts were not as big a deal in '73. Our '76 DOES have a seatbelt buzzer and light and the wire runs there.

I'll look it up on the epc tomorrow.
Inge, just rebuilt my rear heater this evening and the two wires are for the seatbelt warning buzzer; same color + plug....the two wires together, one black, the other black with a white tracer for the buzzer; hope this helps
Lou
I was wondering the same thing, one wires connected to the rear heater but two don't fo anywhere.
