That black plastic little doohickey on the dipstick tube, what is it for?
What is this thing?

connects to one of the hoses on the charcoal canister
It's a holding point for the stick on the intake. I noticed it when I took my starter out this morning.

Ah, thank you. The picture was work quite a few words! I'm missing that little strut that attaches to the hose.
