I haven't read through the entire thread, but I'll throw my .02 cents in...VSC has saved my butt a couple times recently. My tires are showing their age and I started sliding getting on the interstate when it was wet. VSC kicked in and corrected my sliding and I went on about my day. I would have been off the road had I been in a '97. Yes I was going too fast, but I'm still a big fan of VSC.
What is safer a 2000 LC or 97 LC

I can't get the VSC to spin out, tried on snow/ice numerous times. I like it but also in a way I prefer to be 100% in control.
