Pulled the top off the 71

Got three oil changes done!!

Pulled and rebuilt the clutch master to address a leak. Had to add a rubber o-ring to the underside of the plastic resevoir cup. Looks like it fixed it. Also replaced the slave with a factory unit and purged the whole system. MUCH better take-up and overall shifting now.

Made progress on switching out my axle housing. Put in a full weekend but still not done.

Should have it buttoned up tomorrow.

I loaded the FJ on a transport and sent it to Miami. It belongs to Ray now and he's gonna love it!

Today, I stole Mike's (@drnekFJ40) 'dash shelf' idea and made it my own... I was really tired of my camera, my iphone, my thermometer, my lunch constantly falling off my bed. These aren't the best pictures, but, you get the idea...

But, it's cool this week and we won't have many more nice weeks until October... so, we're going unless they forecast a lotta rain.

Finally finished putting the cooling system back together on my swb 45. Had several 'detours ' down the rabbit hole on the way. Replaced the old school 4wd cable only to confirm for myself that there are at least three different types. D'oh.
