Refreshed front knuckles, lockouts, brake calipers and while I am at it, took a wire wheel to the axle housing and added some fresh paint.

Had to make a visit to Lancaster (iykyk) to help diagnose a stuck EGR valve.

I am using some of the bagged charcoal. You do have to rebuild the cannister custom if you do this just beware. Hopefully some guru on here can tell you where the hose goes. I disposed of all my emission stuff so no clue about it.

I couldn't get the hose port top off of my canister so I reinstalled it as is.

Great success. Harbor freight nipple extractor was able to remove the broken half of the dipstick union from the block. Behold the POs JB weld.

Was also able to find a replacement from Australia. If it ends up not working for some reason I’ll find a local machinist to make it.

I got my cruiser to the body shop today so they could pull my passenger door into alignment so I don't need a bungy cord to hold it closed. That works great now. I also finally switched out my side doors glass window to door upper guide after market junk weather stripping with OEM stuff. The OEM stuff fits perfectly and no glue. Pics show comparison of OEM (bottom) to aftermarket (top) and part number. Don't waste you money on the aftermarket, my windows would net even go all the way up with that.

I've got a 4bt in my 60 and absolutely love it, while also absolutely acknowledging that I ruined my Land Cruiser haha.
Huge upgrade in many ways, yet managed to be loud enough to make me question if it was a good idea or not. 5 years and 50k miles later, I realize the fuel economy paid for the swap pretty quickly. At least i.can afford to feed my cruiser now...

I just bought an 87 FJ60 and was thinking about putting the 4bt in it with an H55F tranny. I've heard that the 4bt will make a lot of vibration. Would love to talk to you and anyone else here about the install and recommendations.
