how do you download a video from youtube? cant find a download button..

I use a freebie browser add-on called Ant Video Downloader. Works for Internet Explorer and Firefox. I suggest getting a free video player that will play .flv files. Both can be downloaded from cnet.com or download.com

thanks!! im working on all 4 doors now and then the top. i have no metal skills so there are plenty of imperfections up close and a few paint runs but it's been a wonderful learning experience and certainly will help fend off more rust!

Coolant Over Flow and the Hantavirus

Installed a Coolant Over Flow Tank, $12.99 from the auto parts store. Fabbed a couple of brackets to hold her still.

Any then...Well, when I bought her I kinda thought a rodent had been living in there because I could see nesting around the filler neck, then last weekend when I put the passenger seat back in I realized the rat had, at some point taken some stuffing out of the passenger seat, and today I found out where they were nesting.

Cue the Nitrile Gloves, Goggles, respirator, and Bleach...

The Blower and heater ducts were full of Rat Poo and Nests...yippee!

Glad that's over...

Pulled front and rear axles. Rebuilding the front now. Need to order some new springs. The rear springs have a bad case of wrap!

been a while since i've done anything cruiser related... today I painted my rear axle housing (no pics sorry)... and started reliving the glory days of home ec. I just finished my template and have started making this... can any guess what it will be?

Dropped the axles, ready to swap out bent front axle, repair leafs, then start rebuilding.

yes for a clothing shop here in amsterdam, specialzed in vintage and workman clothing brands... this shoot was for their collection of Nigel Cabourn, known for his vintage style military & expedition parkas, Nigel Cabourn

finished putting the top back on from a year long project....painted the whole truck with Rustoleum Spruce Green, gutting the fuel system, DUI, starter, tires, ICON bench seat, shackles, bushings, new front bumper, etc.

HCC thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of that! I will say that not knowing the history of my cruiser it might be possible this is an orginal rear pack. Although it is SOA in the rear and you can clearly see the pack is bent. The top plate was even bent and it was a 1/2 inch solid piece of plate. I'm not sure if it was part of a kit or not. I have already contacted Alcan and let them in on the situation. They agreed it was wrap.
