Mine actually had three different clips. The white and yellow pictured, and the rear most trim piece used two red clips each, but I re used those as they were not damaged during removal.
I used a custom mix aerosol of "medium gray metallic" I think it was UCA76. I had it scanned at a paint supply, since the paint code for the trim wasn't listed. Since I was doing it all, it didn't bother me if it was a hair off. If anything its just slightly darker.
It's been a busy few weeks, at work and with LC mods. Here's what I've gotten done so far:
-Tough Dog Big Ralph (53mm) front shocks
-Nitro Gear UCAs
-Tough Dog Tour Flex 2" rear springs
-Tough Dog 45mm adjustable rear shocks
-Painted all 5 wheels
-eBay snorkel install
-Dobinsons front bumper
-Warn VR12000 winch
Tough Dog Big Ralphs and Nitro Gear UCAs. You can see the UCAs (or at least the ball joints) really needed to be replaced.
Tough Dog Tour Flex springs/45mm adjust rear shocks vs. OME 864s (I think) and shocks. As you can see the TD coils have a few more, well, coils. And the diameter of the rear shocks is noticeably bigger. The adjustability is already fantastic.
The wheel paint is whatever brand Gun Metal that AutoZone sells. Cheap and easy!
The snorkel was pretty basic, but man it was nerve wracking drilling a hole that big in the fender!
Last but not least, the Dobinsons front bumper, and Warn VR12000. The winch cradle is pretty sturdy, and mounts directly to the frame, then the bumper skin mounts to the winch cradle. I really did not think I was going to like the stainless steel hoops, and was planning on having that part powder-coated. But it's starting to grow on me. I disassembled it until I make up my mind.

Started tacking my semi-DIY sliders together. I picked up a 69" kit from www.xo-fab.com. You can get them with our without the bump out. 69" seemed to be a good length for our trucks. They are .120" DOM, all bent and notched. Did a little cleanup on the weld areas to remove some slag and burrs from the plasma cut.
Working to figure out how I want to mount them. I'm not thrilled with the u-bolt/bracket (especially given how rusty my truck is). I also want them to be easily removable for repairs/paint. Potentially doing a slip-lock cantilevered mount. Need to draw it up and see how it feels.
Just tacked together so far so i can make sure everything lines up nice.

Wow that's quite the transformation! How do you like everything so far? I recently upgraded to Nitro UCA this past weekend and noticed great improvement in steering "vagueness". Are yours making any noise on large compression cycles such as speed bumps? Mine seem to be making a metal-on-metal noise (did grease all zerks prior to torquing down).

Everything fits very nicely together so far! The Tough Dog gear handles the extra weight from the armor and gear very well. I noticed the same steering improvement from the Nitro UCAs. I haven't heard any noises on mine. Did you grease the outside of each busing on the mounts?
Yep, pretty impressive, even the license plate is perfect, but in the future, I'd prefer someone else on the forum take care of the "crash testing". I cringe at the number of parts that would've been damaged without the ARB, I'd probably be posting one of those "Is it totaled?" threads.
Since the kid was at fault, I suspect it would be a whole lot cheaper for me to just buy the lights outright, instead running it through the insurance company. I'd end up being the one paying for it either way.
I need to put a new tailpipe on soon. For reference, what should I expect to pay...? Also...any idea where I can buy a resonator? thanks, Evan
I'm not sure, he said it was during heavy traffic on a "feeder" or "access road" for the freeway, then he said "suddenly everything came to a stop" and he wasn't able to stop in time (probably following too close, just like a teenager). I suspect he wasn't going that fast, but his TLC "hard parts" lined up with the S10's "soft parts" .
I think i got them on sale for $150 for the kit, shipping from Washington to South Florida was like $70. They got here in a week.

Put some 20's with ko2s on from tundra and took it out over mesquito pass and set up camp for the night. Fun trail.

You can get the resonator from Toyota ($$) or I know Bosal makes one as well that is much cheaper, not sure on the quality. For the stainless steel Walker muffler, fabricated tail pipe and installation i paid about $425.
Deleting the resonator does not change the sound much at all.

After removing the flares (white 2000, ugly gold accents) a few weeks ago and hitting it with a 3M eraser wheel, on Monday finally got around to:
- washed, clay bar'd, and waxed
- need to hit a few spots w/ 3M wheel again
- ordered supplies to plasti-dip the gold emblems, which should finish up deleting the exterior Miami Vice trim package
