Met up with some friends for some decompression time - found a nice place like this:

Put my new front runner rack on ... very nice rack , and it clears my garage door by less than a inch !!!

After a long weekend of working on the bumper and other various things. I finally got the thing installed!. I must say, this bumper is truly a masterpiece. As someone who has worked in garage with fantastic fabricators building $100k+ obnoxious mud bogging trucks, this bumper is by far one of the best pieces of work I've ever seen. The amount of forethought (probably in combination with lots of prototypes) is astounding. I was imagining that I would have to do a lot of work to get all the pieces of the bumper to line up because of its modular nature, but instead was amazed every time I put a piece on only to find it fit perfectly the first time.

Ben has raised the bar big time with this thing. Just the latching mechanism alone was what kept me from jumping on another bumper, but after getting it and seeing the craftsmanship, I'm extremely glad I waited (ALMOST A YEAR!).

BTW, I'm going to copy paste this and add it to a couple threads so you may see it more than once.

ATRAC sliding some very slick mud - needed MT tires for this stuff...

Finished up the: front wheel bearings, front calipers and pads (pad slider pins had rusted in place), had the rotors turned.

Getting the truck ready for our annual trip south from MN for spring break. Hit up OK and KS last year for some MTBing and exploring. Planning on AR this year. Will be pulling a trailer with our goodies/toys and having a blast!

Love your take on the Prinsu design. Any issues or concerns with the cross bars rotating since they're only held on by a single bolt at either end?

Thanks. They don't make a 100 series one, so I figured I would make it myself. Need to do some trail testing to see if the cross bars will stay put. So far, no movement.

Which mounts did you use? I have a set of Trail Tailor low profile mounts waiting for an 80/20 design I've been kicking around, but I always liked the cleaner look of the side plates.

I used Jason's (Trail Tailor) low profile mounts

Turned out more of a satin finish. I kept the spray cans in warm water between coats since it was ~40 during application. Wheels next???

I wasn't even considering a LX in my search due to my dislike of the front end until I saw your post. Wow think I'm leaning towards a black LX now. Nice rig what, size bfg's are you running?

Pulled my inner fender skirt while prepping for upcoming snorkel and bumper install that's down the road a few weeks. All clips donezo and skirt was in pretty beatup shape.... do people leave these things off. Are they really necessary?

If only they offered one with beige leather and brown wood like in my 2003 LX470...I'd buy one in a heartbeat because the wood and leather are wearing out on mine.

I do have one in stock that is beige leather and brown wood steering wheel, same style as factory replacement. PM me if you are interested. ;)
