Scraped the bumper on the garage door trim backing out and trying to have a conversation with the wife out the window at the same time, also banded a leaky cv boot thanks to parts from pfran

Also fixed rear locker. Turned out to be just stuck due to lack of use. The internals of the actuator were extremely clean and not corroded like some I've seen on here. Just happy the locker works!

Painted center cap emblem for my lx wheels in the Toyota grayish beige trim color.

Started chrome. Tried black plastidip. Thought about gold. I like this best.

Also sprayed the grill emblem. I thought about keeping the gold but it was in bad shape. I'll do the rear emblems next and considering painting the chrome on the grill too

Sprayed 2 cans of fluid film on the undercarriage in preparation for the winter.

Replaced the heater hose T's, I found it was a little easier to remove from the metal pipe connections even then when carefully removing the old T they just fell apart. I did have a small drip start after around one of the metal pipes so added a screw band clamp, hopefully the problem is solved.

Did you replace the hoses at the same time?

If not, your leak is a result of the old hose. I recommend replacing them. I temporarily replaced just my tees and experienced the same leak; as soon as I replaced the rubber, the leak was gone.

did my T hose, well I started it , but a mechanic shop finished it ,what a PITA to do . at 107k and they were fine , I had the part seating for a while so we did it any ways

replaced a leaking O-ring on the water inlet pipe just above the water pump. 3 shops said I needed a new water pump and do the timing belt while I was at it (which would have been 40K early and $1,200) - no thanks. Tracked down the leak and 95% confident she's good to go, will know for sure if that was the only leak in a few days of driving. Was loosing coolant at about 3-4 cups per 200 miles, pink film/crusting around O-ring location, couldn't find it anywhere else. Not a lot of evidence on the ground as most of it evaporated before it hit the ground. Oil looks good as well, so it's not a head gasket issue. $15 in parts and 1.5 hours taking my time....

Heater T's. flushed coolant, flushed brake fluid, oil change/filter/, air filter. 169,900 miles

Just replaced the valve cover gaskets to get rid of the leak and burning oil smell. Ordered some heater Tees too after reading about their failure.

Greased the driveshafts and u-joints.

The HIR bulbs can be purchased at this store NEW Philips 3rd Generation 9012 (HIR2) - (12.8V 55W - PX22D)</font>

The modification is simple using this guide to modify the bulb and then it is simple plug and play and the result is much brighter lights . I have done this on my 80 and has been a regular mod in the 80's section for many years.

Replaced rear brake/rotors. Pulsating stopped but will do fronts next weekend.

One of the lug bolts sheared off. Add that to the list. :bang:

Removed an OEM roof rack (cast mounting brackets in bad shape, all other parts retained). Also removed the OEM running boards. I have seen some before & after pics on here and the visual difference was large; however, the real-life change is even bigger (to my eyes anyway).
