What happened to the old hoes?!?
You have to replace 'em as a good preventative maintenance practice. Can't be having old hoe's laying around cause they get lazy and no longer want to work. Everyone knows this @ClassyJalopy.

High-pressure line to the rear air-conditioning sprung a pinhole leak in the common place right behind the passenger side front tire. Thought about capping it but wanted to keep things intact for the next owner, however far away that is. Not a terrible job if your rig is not a rust bucket. I’m sure the dealers charge a fortune for this work. It helps to have long arms to disconnect the rear line to where it attaches above the muffler (2nd photo). New line will be here Tuesday. New Denso drier desiccant bag ordered as well. Home Depot has it for only $15 and free shipping. Bizarre. Have a good day!

Got the new line installed couple of weeks ago. Definitely have to bend and push a little more than I cared to but it is in and recharged and blowing cold. If it happens again TOO soon, I will just cap the rear off. Not worth it.

Got tired of using straps for the Jerry's so took some flat bar and welded this up. Doesn't move a bit and the "wing nut" allows you to really tighten it down however much you'd like. I can lock things up now too. Wasn't interested in buying any of the Jerry can cages I've seen online. They work great, don't get me wrong. I just enjoy whipping some stuff up like this. Have an EXCELLENT day, folks!

Can we get a @harrydunn special edition limited run of these? Or are these the super special one-of-one type of deal? This is an elegantly simple idea.

Hmmm, we could talk I suppose. My welding is not professional quality but it gets the job done.

I think this would be a super cool hitch mount type of idea similar to those tire carrier jobs.

Looks great. Simple too

Yeah I wanted something simple and clean. The 2 Erickson retractable straps I was using on it are worth more than the small amount of gas I would keep in those cans on overland trips so I basically did it just to get rid of someone stealing the straps!

Getting close to finishing up my LC front end swap on my 2006 LX... and major light upgrades!

All new oem Toyota parts, including headlights, brackets, hoods, every clip, screw, etc.
3 stage paint to match - I already needed some body work and new headlights so figured now is the time!
Lexus badge swap into 06-07 grill
Morimoto D2S Bi-xenon projectors, 50w ballasts, 5800k bulbs
LED DRL and high beams
Amber LED turn signals and parking lights
Amber LED turn signals AND parking lights in JDM OEM Super MK4 side markers - using a snorkel install template for the proper hole position
Yellow LED fogs
Custom headlight harness from @jerryb

Hoping to be finished by Monday or Tuesday.

Big shout out to @Luke111 .. I ordered the LED DRL/high beam kit and Morimoto D2S parts from him. One of the projector lenses came in scratched from TRS and he boxed up a replacement he had on hand and dropped it off at USPS at 10pm the same day. Can't get any better customer service than that!

Hello Mud Buddies! What have I done to my 100 series this week? Well...admittedly it has taken a little longer than a week but I designed a rapid release roof top tent mount! I got tired of scraped and bruised arms and HOURS securing bolts! I have been using them all summer and they have been a GAME-CHANGER!

Great job. We had an XL RTT for a couple of years and they are a pain to undo. Did you fab up the mounts and weld them yourself?

Replaced a squeaky idler pulley this morning while it wasn't too hot. I thought I was losing the bearing in bad way due to the guard on the front of the pulley being apparently bent from what must have been a damn hard bump. I thought the pulley was cockeyed until I replaced it and the new one looked the same. luckily just the outer plate/guard. I bought a tensioner pulley just in case it was the noisy one, but luckily changing the idler took care of it. man that thing spun freely.

Thank you! I did the design but not the welding. My welder did a great job. I am really excited to see the CNC version in a couple of weeks!

Can we talk MOLLE panels? Maybe I do not understand them but seem silly? Molle Window panels specifically......

What about them? Anything specifically?Excellent use of what is basically dead space. I have one in my third row attached to my attic rack. Holds my net, chest pack, first aid kit and anything you can throw a strap through. Great for keeping dry flies fluffed on the outer fly patch of my chest pack, instead of typically flattening them when not hung up.

"Hoes" LOL spellcheck sent you sideways that is the spelling for something else altogether should be hose. What a crack up

Nice. Interested to see that. If I ever get another RTT a quick-release system would be noooice.
