As some of you may recall my house mate's pet pigs ripped the rear bumper off the 105 a few months ago.... but the good news is a replacement arrived on a a ship to the Island last week. I'll fit it soon.

Probably.

On Sunday we thought we'd test the newish Rola roof tray with some wild barbecue ingredients. It's a good rack and seems fairly corrosion resistant.

I had to google your location. Wow that's remote. Cheers from the other side (North Cape, Norway)

Rear Nakamichi Speakers on my ‘00 LX replaced after the HU. 6.5” GX628 JBLs. Trimmed the stock enclosure with a dremel grinding bit to get these in.

Working on the front with 6.5” GX608C component speakers along with the amp soon.
was this a straight swop or does it require additional amp-related “stuff” before working? Appreciated

LX - no need to cut off the light tabs. Just change the pitch on the grille to clear them.

This might come in handy.

Is there a chart like this for the Land Cruiser? I still have yet to wire up my LED bumper lights on my Ironman 4x4 classic off road bumper.

I haven't seen one. It would be nice if we had wiring maps for all models and bumpers.

Straight swap with factory wiring for the rears, I tend to keep the volume pretty low so the stock amp would do for now without blowing up until I get the amp replaced.

For the front factory speakers, it uses a splitter connection so half of each signal goes into the woofer and tweeter. If you used component speakers, you’d have to cut and splice at the splitter containing 3 positive, 3 negatives ( 1 input 2 outputs each ). You’d wire the single inputs to your crossover and route them to the tweeters and woofers.

This video works as a good general guide.

100% pure Toyota Land Cruiser diesel sexiness! 😋

Cheers

*yes I am spamming the forum with these, why not!? Best Toyota turbo diesel ever built, arguably. And fits oh so well in 40 to 100-series! 🥰😉

Cheers

After a year of having the brackets installed I finally drilled the holes and secured them with the hardware. I guess I don’t wheel hard enough, because nothing broke :-(

Also reinstalled my front drive shaft. Gonna be honest, I really like the way it drives without a front shaft. So smooth and no clunking lol.

I’ve been wanting to do this but can’t figure out what color to order for my interior
I'm also on the fence about this. I have the nasty beige interior but I don't think it would make sense to add the grey / black to a beige interior.

Yup my interior is beige, dashboard I think is grey with it being as old as it is I'm not sure if it's really grey lol. I wanted to buy that spray paint to cover the west marks from elbow on the driver side but again not sure WTH color is supposed to be
