Over the last few weeks, I have worked on a full custom rear bumper with a tire swingout. Yesterday with the help of a buddy I got all the welding done. Now it just needs a bit of cleaning and then hopefully paint tonight and get it mounted to the truck this week.

Heads up to anyone who saw this post. These CleanTech wiper blades did not work out. The mounting clips started slipping off after about 6 weeks.
i have the same problem happening with my wiper blades currently funny you mention that

The problem with aftermarket parts. I've tried to be economical with the Hundy since I've had it but it's about to finally get some love with some good parts....

i feel like wiper blades are such a consumable commodity anymore. as with anything. i get like one season out of them and replace this time of year every year you think they could figure it out but they dont on purpose i swear. i blame china

I get several years out of factory blades

Their channel is pretty cool. Seen a few of their travels/videos. Super cool he just drops the camper on an 80 series chassis!

Went to a VW TDI Conversion meet last weekend, did some wheeling with my brother and a couple of guys in TDI-swapped VW Vanagons (2wd models) afterward. Absolutely amazing where those things can go with a brave driver, though we did find their limits on some steep hills.

That looks like Tyler Nyman's van with the huge brush guard, if so that van spent quite a while in my garage a few years ago installing a motor to find out it had a blown head gasket

Yep, that's him! I heard about some of the engine tribulations he's been through with that van, we almost had another when the engine decided to ingest some water. It took 30-45 minutes of pulling glow plugs, blowing water out of the cylinders and checking timing before it got going again. Puffed copious clouds of white smoke for a bit but it finally cleared up and ran fine for the rest of the day.

It likely is. I’ve know. I’m him for about 1t years and he has had dozens of VW’s in the timeframe. My favorite was a mid 80s GTI that was immaculate. I don’t remember what color the outside was but it had a red interior.
