what happened to the 1FZE in 03?

This engine was quite used in Venezuela till 2009. They have a land cruiser called in the local market "machito" that used this engine till 2009. I am bringing my lx 450 from the US to Venezuela, surely I would be looking forward for this engine upgrade.

So now its 6 years later any update on a 03+ 1FE crate engine?

I'm just going to pretend that my rig originally came with the upgraded engine, but I removed the newer components and replaced them with the older system because it's simpler and better.
