Not at all campfire cuisine-ish, but I just thought I'd aske the question: what you regular or favorite lunch brought from home?

Since I work nights, I can't really eat much without running the risk of severe heartburn, so I keep it light, I usually make a big pot of home-made oatmeal, and freeze it in 8oz portions, that way I just have to heat it up in the break-room microwave, add a little milk from the bar, and be done. I'll usually have a couple apples and a yogurt as well. Not the tastiest meal on the planet, but the best cheap late-night breakfast I've had.

Anyone else?

Stouffers..

Usually on sale, I can stock up for an entire week. Quick easy and as lite or heavy as you want it. I usually keep one or two in the company freezer just in case the are no leftovers.
My favorite leftovers are homemade beans, chili, and enchiladas.

Sandwich. Turkey, Ham, Tuna, PB&J - its all good. As long as there's a healthy coating of mayo, it makes me happy. Sometimes when I feel crazy I add lettuce.

And a yogurt for good colon care.

Whatever left over meat we have from the night before, a package of Thai Kitchen rice noodle soup and a cup of mixed frozen vegetables. Microwave the noodles per package directions I leave out the oil and just use the seasoning powder, I also use a little less water that listed. Add the meat and veggies and nuke another 2 1/2 min. Leave it set for about 15 Minutes and it makes a nice noodle dish, most of the water will be absorbed. I keep a bottle of Soy and a bottle of Sirachi sauce in my desk for seasoning.

Breakfast: Yoplait yogurt, mojo bar, banana or apple

Lunch: I much prefer a hot lunch, so I bring leftovers from home. This week its been salsbury steak, bbq chicken and chili.

I make all that s*** right when I get home from the gym. I always make extra for myself.

sounds good.
What's a mojo bar?

back when I had a daytime worklife, I would do the leftovers gig, probably the best way to roll. I can only stare so many sandwiches down before I get tired of 'em.
Your setup sounds really good, there Rusty.

Speaking of gym, I figure it's about time I got off my fatass....
