U will like the 3.4 5VZFE engine , its easy to work on and has lots of AS# when U press on the GAS , I had a 1995 T-100 that was over 500K before i sold it , original engine , trans axles etc , No major issues

But I never was Lucky enough to find a Super Charger TRD !

I swapped out The 5 Star directional Alloy's rims from my 2003 tundra and put the T-100 5 Star NON- directional on that for a Retro JDM look

- U can also install the factory fog lamps VERY easy or a aftermarket kit on your New 2003 as well , just pop out the solid black trim cover deletes

I was thinking one of these would be easier to park and less to worry about here in the city. I may have to downgrade lol I need to do more research. Any cons to the older T100s?

last weekend. farted around the ranch roads of katemcy taking a few pics of roundup. then drove to bonham to pick up a frame and home again. 2000 miles, more gas than i want to add up, but well worth the time to hang with my cruiser family.

95-98 T-100 Cons :

- Rust Rockers , rear wheel wells

- high mileage , I have NOT seen one with under or slightly over 100K in years , Every one has like 200k + , I only parted with mine because i could , & I wanted a 4.7 V8 bad bad bad ! Like no body's business

-I had rust issues that I got under control and stopped with aerosol under coating

- I bought it New in summer of 1995 & always used OEM parts , performed excessive maintenance , fluid changes etc .

- cons , would be lack of used parts because they did not make many T-100's , its a pretty rare truck all being said

- 93-95 had the 3.0 / 3VZ-FE or three point slow / dont go near that engine it SUCKS

- thats all the cons

Loaded the fam in the big tree and followed a few Cruisers for peanuts and beer at Oskar Blues brewery in NC, and to check out the site for Overland Expo East.

RagingMatt - K&N looks really cool......they say that "cold" air can add power (although that engine has crazy power bone stock) and fuel efficiency.....that is why some will add a snorkel....What was the cost of the K&N Cold Air Intake? Was it hard to install? Have you seen any improvement in gas mileage?

The Additional Power is SICK !

that being said , i tend to drive it a bit harder , so my gas milage is likley Worse , all due to mY Get The Lead foot out

i also dont really keep track of MPG

Easy to install , i made 1 Field adjustment to K&N directions due to OEM vacuum Line Length but nothing major , it could be a error in there instructions honestly

K&N Part No. 63-9027 - Cold Air Intakes

i am loyal to this company ,

U need to to do the Cat back Dual tail pipes exhaust BORLA too , to get the real thump !

Installed new rotors and pads, stops like new!

I performed a " Any Time Fog LamP Modification " , this allows use of my fogs LamPs " Anytime "

I will be generating a thread on how to do this on first generation TUNDRA's very soon !

I installed HELLA Yellow HID's fog lamps , they are the same Yellow color as FJ40 OEM ones

HORNS !

I like to be able to get Moron PO's out of the way when circumstances dictate i do so ...........

I added 2 addional OEM toyota horns to my Nippondenso 2 horn kit , the bigger ones came off a 1976 Celica , they have a deeper

OEM " Meep MEEP "

east to install and twice the punch of HORN power

if u are gonna add horns , make sure they are OEM toyota ! and older ones sound great
