Finished up the mild cooling overhaul in the t100 earlier. Ended up putting a new tstat and large coolant hoses on while I was doing the other work along with the rad, fan clutch and water pump I did a few days ago.
Overall the whole cooling system is still looking great. No buildup in the passages and no sludge/milk/ cloudy liquids came out when I drained the original rad.
I am still impressed with the fit and appearance of the koyorad. It came with mounting brackets which is something I have read some other rads don’t have and the factory brackets must be moved over. I kept my old brackets if someone ever needs them.
This maintenance parts list:
KOYORAD C1512 radiator- no cap included
Aisin FNT005 fan blade
Aisin FCT013 fan clutch - modified by me

Anyone know of any other OEM steering dampers that work for these? Like J60 or J80 Land Cruiser one? They make the 4WD ones for the Truck/4Runner still but I’m guessing it’s too narrow.
Last time I replaced mine probably 10 years back I bought a Monroe it was straight bolt in. I think they still make it.
Sorry if this is not what you were asking about.
I’m aware of the Monroe but try to avoid aftermarket anything if I can help it.
Tackled a few easy projects today- replaced LH lock assembly, silly knuckle stop covers, and hid the torn drivers side upholstery. The door is a pleasure to close now.
I have Onestone armrests in my 80 and like them so I decided the T100 needs them as well. These are for a 70 series and needed some modification to fit. These are the browns painted rustoleum dark taupe.
Replaced the two extra crispy vacuum hoses that go to the AC idle up valve.
I was tired of slamming and/or closing the passenger side door multiple times to get it latch correctly. With the recent 25% off toyota sale and free shipping I ordered a RH power lock assembly PN 69310-34030 for my manual lock door. The RH manual lock assembly is NLA but the power one fits with no problems. Other than rotating the white push rod holder 90 degrees no changes to it are needed; the vestigal piece doesn't interfere with anything. Should have done this sooner, one door closure and it was absolutely worth it!
Now that it looks and drives basically like new . The AC evaporator is last on the list . I would say it’s long overdue .
Rebuilt the T basically everything is done. Plan is to hand it off to my dad … maybe next weekend as a surprise. He wants a pickup, I (finally after looking for a long time) just bought a tundra to accommodate my family ..

Did you notice a difference in air flow out of the vents?
I wanted to do a new blower as well, just because .. but I ended up leaving it alone and gave the truck to my dad. I still may do the blower just because the old one is a little noisy.. and it’s 30 years old.. but it blows a nice volume of air still
